90 camaro lower dash pad

90 camaro lower dash pad

does anyone know where i can find the bolts or screws that hold the dash pad up? the PO lost one and its bugging me only having one in there cause it saggs, so anyone know where i can find these? its a torx

Try going to the junk yard and find the camaro that still has the dash in it and take them off of that

been there and done that, most the camaros and firebirds have the steering coloum ripped out of them, so meaning that pad is gone, also meaning that screw/bolt is gone....

Just go to local hardware store and match up with new sheet metal screws. You might not get torx, but phillips is available, and you can't see the heads anyway (unless your upside down in the car).

sheet metal screws? your kidding right?, not to sound like an *** but i would just prefer to have the original and not have something...like that holding it up..., thanks for the advice though

Well that's all they are, pan head sheet metal screws with torx heads. I'm not suggesting you get little small sheet metal screws and drill new holes into the metal framing. Get large (I think they are #12 or #14 size) screws - they screw into those metal clips that clip around a larger hole in the framework.

I'm sure I probably have a spare set of those screws (5 total) hanging around somewhere
but I'd go with camaronewbie and hit the store. You can get them probably cheaper than the cost of sending these to you. If for some reason you can't get what you want let me know

2 are screws and 3 are bolts, but yeah im gonna do what newbie said
