Can I put a 90s camaro rocker panels on my 86 camaro?
I recently messed up my rocker panel on my car (top photo, before destruction) and i like the style of the 90s models with the small tunnel. Im wondering how interchangeable they are...thank you

I couldn't say if they're a direct swap or how they attach, but a lot of people have done it, so it's apparently doable. Some 85-90 Trans Ams have even swapped to the 91-92 Camaro rocker GFX. The "vents" are a good look. And now that you've gotten a reply, people will start replying lol.

The biggest difference is where and how they attach to the front fender. The '85-'90 rocker panel attaches with a pair of long sheet metal screws that are hidden behind the emblem. The '91-'92 rocker panel has a couple mounting studs instead.
The next biggest difference is at the rear quarter panel attachment point. Both styles use a mounting stud (except the '85 model, iirc), but the location of the stud was raised higher up on the '91-'92 rocker panel.
The '91-'92 panel has an additional mounting screw along the door jamb area, compared to the '85-'90 rocker panel. Iirc, the '85-'90 support brackets do have provisions for that additional screw however.
The screw locations along the bottom of the rocker panel appear to be all the same.
