need some tips on painting interior piece
Hey guys I picked up some A-pillar moldings at the junkyard today
with all the pieces in tact. I also picked up a security cover and mounts and the plastic piece it latches to. The hatch top mount plastic piece is red. I need to paint it grey to match my interior. Can someone tell me the procedure on redoing this plastic since I have never worked with it.
Thanks!

First off, you might want to search the boards, there have been a few threads on this I think. My door sill panels were tossed when I painted my car a while back so I grabbed a few from a junk yard. I washed em real good with hot soapy water and let them dry, and then painted them with an acrylic lacquer I purchased from classic industries. You might want to spend some extra time and find a primer specific for plastic also, and prime the pieces before painting them. I put on a couple light coats and its held up well.
