Auto console indicator

Hello everybody! Do most of you have the automatic shifter with the broken indicator, which shows you which gear you are in? I have had that red light dinging around for years and when I took out console to put in new carpet, I super glued it back in place, but it is made so cheap!! I know it will snap off again, does anybopdy know of a newer design to keeps it in in place, I hate having my wife drive the car and see she has it in 2 instead of D. Andy:lala:

This one probably won't get alot of responses so I hate to let it go to waste. Don't let her drive the car unless she can change the oil. As far as the gearshift indicator....lots of my little plastic pieces are brittle from age which is why lots of folks opt for 4th gen or custom pieces. The factory replacement are expensive.

I'm on my 3rd 90-up console and haven't had a problem with the indicator yet...
