hey Dasturdlee,
I know how your feeling. The same thing happened to me when i got into my accident. It feels like all hope is lost and your car will never be the same. I had to replace a front clip and hood like you. you can do it, and it wont be that expensive. you just have to get some motivation. Hey think of it this way, now you can add an IROC front clip or make custom ram air before assembling the front end again. Good Luck!
Tom

the IROC front clip is the front end of 85-90 Z28s and Irocs. The front end that has the "Camaro" grille insert and fog lights and the front spoiler that completes the front fascia.

I have an IROC clip installed on my 82 Z, and it looks great. It sure beats the 82 berlinetta front clip...lol.

Anyone know where to get a new front clip for a great price? My boss backed into me at work the other day, insurance gave me some cash, and I need a new one. Only place I saw so far was Classic Industries, but their's is $271.

go for it. This gives you a good excuse to get a custom hood!
Figure out how much it will cost for the new factory parts, then figure the cost of the custom hood, grill, bumper cover and ground f/x and the price wont be that much different.

This may be your chance to do something different with your car!

be thankful that your body work looks like its all unbolt bolt on type repairs. **** for my damage I have to cut the whole rear panel off, weld on a new one, body filler it, etc. Much harder O_o
