How do you get the headrest off the front seats in a 1991 Firebird?

This question came up last week... scroll down, and if you don't see it go to page two, then three... it shouldn't be too far down the list.

 

you need to disengage the button on the bar inside the seat itself..i made a piece of metal out of heating duct strap.i just rounded the edge so i wouldnt damage the inside of the seat to much...then pull the headrest up as far as it will go and slide the bar down the headrest bar..it takes a little playing around with to get it.....i think the button is in the back but dont qoute me on that.........
