Yellow or Silver??
As most of you have noticed, I own 2 Yellow 1987 formula's, one of which is done, but I refuse not to spend at least 2K a year on it...
the second car i considered saving for my to be wife, and keeping it yellow. As it turns out, she likes the car, but she would prefer that I paint it Chrysler Platinum like Flyin Low's car.
My Delema is this: From what I understand the 5 speed TPI car with 3.45 gear, T-tops, especially in yellow is pretty uncommon.
Here is my question should I keep it Yellow and all original, or paint it platinum for my Bride to be on March 16th?

Eventhough the platinum looks great, I always like yellow on a car. Nobady has yellow and makes it really stand out. Thats just me. If you are going to give her the car and it will be HER car I say do what ever she wants. Would you rather have a yellow car or a new wife

I say go with the yellow for two reasons. One, because, because I want my car to be one of a kind LOL. 2. Yellow is rare and it still does look good.

Steve86TA,
Yup, thats the original yellow color...

black really is not an option, but I have considered buying a black car and plainting it platinum.
that way I do not have to worry about painting under the hood...

I love yellow but you either love it or hate it.
My real preference is black and gold! but after seeing flyinglow I want to go platinum. I think you need to buy a few more, one yellow, one platinum and black and gold!
I was really looking forward to painting my car this year but after seeing these I dont think i can make up my mind
no help here

Actually okfoz , if you want a real answer i'de definitly do the platinum. Platinum looks real sharp in my opinion. I only said back cause my car is black, it was arctic white. (Now looking for a bumper sticker that reads: "nice guys drive white cars" :sillylol: :sillylol: :sillylol:......)
