What size of neon bar should I use?

I am wanting to mount one on the inside of my hatch so it can light my subs. Do I need 6", 8" or a 10" to get the job done?

It's been my experience that low-profile is the way to go for audio...lightin' up seems to scream "Steal me..!"...but oh well. 6" should be fine.

it depends on where and how you plan on mounting this!

personally, when it comes to the inside interior unless it's hidden i wouldn't do it. what's the point of looking at a neon tube? it's one thing to glow, it's another to have a light bar!

but, it's your ride, azure is right though your just asking to get something stolen unless it's a show car.

I was planning on mounting into the hatch. As in cutting away the plastic and making it so the neon is flush with the plastic. Also I am going to make it with an on/off switch, so it wont be on all of the time.

I was thinking of putting some orange neons under my seats, to match my guages. Anybody know what size to go here? I think like 6-10 inches should fit, but I dont have my car now to measure.
