I'm thinking of painting stripes on my IROC, from the front nose right up over the hood, roof, and rear end. Does anyone have any pictures of Camaros that have this done, or any Camaros with stripes. Post them up please!!

 

I have 25th aniv stripes outlined in black.

 

this is just my opinion, but i don't think stripes shy of the heritage style look that well, especially when you extend down to the front ground effects as well as the rear bumper........but, to each his own.

Mine are similar to bluegrassZ's stripes, i wanted go old style heritage with new style strpies, so mine have the pin stripes on either side of the large stripes, the extend all the way down front Aand back, sorry for the quality of the pic its all i got

91Z28 and 87Iroc-z (and anybody else w/ a cowl hood...) if you have them, can you post some pics showing diff angles of the hood? I'm really interested in getting a cowl hood (the direct bolt on that uses stock latches and all.) Also what size is the cowl and is there a significant weight loss from stock hood? (My hood now is fiberglass, but reinforced with steel--so it still weighs a ton it feels.) Also the hoods in JEG'S say they come w/ a gel-black coating, and my car is black... does this mean I won't have to paint the hood? I'm thinking it's 'glass it won't rust... and if it matches close enough I'd just save the money to have it painted and put it somewhere else in the car... Thanks for any replies.

 

You will have to paint the hood. The gel coat is like black primer.
