Power Antenna
I was wondering what would be involved in putting a power antenna in my 91 bird(which does not have one) I have always thought they looked great. Getting the antenna is not the problem, how would i hook the thing up, and would it go up and down when i switched the power on and off on my stock head unit?
Thanks guys

When I changed over from fixed-mast to power on my '87, I purchased the antenna, bracket and a wire harness from the dealer. This might be apples-to-oranges (Camaro front fender / Firebird rear fender?), but here's how I recall it went.
This was a long time ago, so bear with my feeble memory; there shouldn't be any splicing and dicing. The wire harness for the antenna should plug into the antenna, the back of the radio and to an existing plug at the fuse block. I didn't have to fab up any connectors, etc. Took about an hour to complete.
