Thats the thing, its not "My car" so i cant modify it, besides my dad wants to leave it stock aside from the adjustible waste gate and Thrasher chip, car is worth more stock, alleast thats what he says. Plus i think it can already pull 12's, the Turbo T (same as T-Type) was slighlty faster than the Grand National

What's "beautiful" about that car ? It's a friking Buick ! And OLD MAN's car that happens to be fast. I guess I never did understand the "beauty" of these cars. They're FUGLY! Yeah they're fast... but they're NOT beautiful. Not even close to a thirdgen.

I'd say the Monte looks pretty similar... I'd rather the Buick if I were gonna get a pimpin' car... The Monte has the name and the looks for it, but that Buick is pretty much untouchable on the street.

Where do you see a "crossover pipe" ??? I see the intercooler to tb pipe and the cold air pipe, but not the crossover, anyway... sweet car, looks great, too bad i hate the interior's on those things.

Sorry I just had to jump in on this. You people are being so stereotypical of the 70's or your Ghetto is different from the one I drive through. Our Pimps drive Mercedes (SUV's and cars) BMW's and Escalades (sp). The regular Ghetto Doods are pimpin rice real hard. Where do you think all these Wiggas came from? They are tryin' to be "HARD" 20"inc rims on a lowered Honda.

If my old man came home with a turbo Buick, I'd be shocked
Would your parents consider adopting me ??????
Be very thankful that your dad is cool enough to own a piece of heaven.

I never thought my dad was "not cool", i consider him a cool dad, and has a good choice of cars, the Turbo T is his toy car, his buisness work car is a 98 supercharged Regal, before that was a R/T Intrepid, so he has decent taste in cars. This weekend he's gonna let me drive the T on a popular strip where every one hangs out for fun, but the terms are he's gonna be the passenger, and after i had my little fun he's gonna make me switch seats. i guess its better to drive than not drive it at all.

what i ment with the whole set up shindig was that the guy put the same set up as the t-type GN on a non turboed GN and he did it becuz his son wanted it just like the t-type becuz of the power. hope that cleared it abit.

I dont care what anyone thinks that car kicks @$$! Well I would still rather have it in this order if I had to pick between the three.

1 89 Formula Firebird
2 Grand National
3 That Buick

That air filter is Holley, my dad replaced that with a conical K&N, and he got the latest design one cause instead of there being a chrome looking plate at the end of the conical, there is a swirl filter type at the end, like the extreme lid for the TBI filters, just sized to fit the conical, looks great !

1982, I guess I still don't know what you're talkin about. All GN's are turbo V6's. There is no such thing as a non-turbo GN!

Ughhh... nobody says they dont have potential! DOH! I've personally seen GN's run 9s at the local track! Yes they're very POTENT performers! But they're NOT beautiful like some people in this thread say. It looks like an old grandpa's car!! It doesn't resemble a SPORTS CAR at all.

Anybody can put a fast engine in a bad looking car. I guess Buick did that back in the 80s and there's the result. The GN! Yipeee...
