Steering Wheel Mod
Steering Wheel Mod
Im not sure if anyone has done this before, probablly though. But at least it makes your steering wheel look cool. I just painted the little screamin chicken emblem on my steering wheel the same color as my paint. Gives it a nice effect. Let me know what you guys think.
That's actually kinda cool, cept for the fact that I hate that wheel type and want to replace mine as soon as I can. I can't see around the thing!

I have thought about doing that to my bird for years. never had the guts to go through with it. I may do it now that I see it done!

What I have done in the past to do really fine work like that is instaed of using a really really small paintbrush, but for model cars I use a toothpick. This looks more of a job for a paintbrush and a steady hand...
Did I say I REALLY like that?
yup I did...

Im glad you guys like it! As said before, i did paint my car corvette yellow. Then I just took some of the touchup paint and did the steering wheel! As also said before i did use a toothpick to paint it. Then paint thiner to clean up the excess paint. If any of you guys have done this or are gonna do this post a pic!

I did mine in red about 2 years ago. I used that rub on paint you can get at a hobby store. I just got enough to fill in the recessed part. It dried over night and has held up great. I even did the little birdies on the door.
Oh and the orange looking trim is actually red string lights. I have to find a way to get that stuff to look better in the day. Looks awesome lit up though.
