not sure how you could fix yours, but if you want to replace it, i have a maroon one and a light blue one, both with 3rd brake lights for sale. Email me at higotoody@hotmail.com if you interested, i'll let either go pretty cheap...

Yeah, I know what hes talkin about... I did the EXACT same thing as you. Your gonna need to glue the studs back into place with super glue, or epoxy. I would use epoxy, cause its stronger. I how ever just used super glue, and is hoplding up just fine! Make sure you use the 2 holes on either side to anchor it as well... just drill out the rivets, and replace them with screws! Just incase the glue doesent hold.
Good luck!

Three of the four broke on my wing about 3 years ago too. I was kinda dissappointed on how flimsy the material was. Luckily, none of the pieces got lost. I removed my wing (while it was off, I cleaned & applied some good wax under there too!! ), and used JB Weld to put it back together. It's held up extremely well, and every now & then, I give it a little tug to make sure it's still secure. Hope this helps!

Fill the underside of them with JB Weld and before it hardens, add a couple of bolts so when it hardens, they'll stick out and you can bold the wings on from underneath. . .
JB Weld, Superglue, and Zip-ties. . . the stuff of dreams! ! !

Hey we made a mold for the conv. spoiler awhile ago (just the center) I am not sure of what years they fit. I have not sold one in quite some time. I don't even advertise them. Any pics of what yours looks like??

I repaired mine by bending some brackets of sheet metal and epoxying them to the spoiler. I put a J-clip on each and bolt directly into it with a bolt from below. It hasn't come loose since.

All mine were broken off also after someone tried to break into the trunk and steal my subs.
I glued them back on with JB Weld, and it is better than ever!!!

gt auto,
Good call on making some repros of these spoilers. Should make some of the side pieces as well - and not to forget the rear side panels, even just the "naked" panels that people could put upholstery on themselves.

I just saw the picture of the trans-am drop top and was wondering. Didn't the camaro vert's have different spoilers than the firebird verts?

The camaros had different side pieces... instead of flaring out like mine, they basically went straight back.

Hint, Hint: If anybody reading this post ( like somebody who makes fiberglass parts ) would start making convertible versions of the 91-92' Z28 hi-rise I sure a lot of people would be interested.. hint, hint .
