front caliper mounting bolts....! help

ok, stupid rusty bolts.

ok so im going to change my front disc brake pads. so i get the wheel off and jack the car up. i go to take the bottom caliper mounting bolt out and it comes out just fine(after kicking the crap out of it). now when i go to take the top one off ( this is single piston by the way ) i cant get it off to save my life. its not too overly rusted cause the other one wasnt too bad...but the socket for it is all messed up so you cant get a proper fittin in it with ur tool. now i dont know what to do because i put all my force into turning this thing and it wont budge. should i go get a replacement bolt and cut it? would someplace like autozone sell those? where would i cut it because its still threaded into the thingy that holds the caliper(the name escapes me right now). or is there another way for me to fix this?......help! i have all the technical knowledge i could ever need but when it comes to nuts and bolts im a total idiot...

also, now when i brake it pulls to the passenger side ( i worked on the drivers side ). im thinkin its all the wd40 i sprayed at that stupid bolt ( i was very angry and i had a big can ). i knowi got it all over the rotor. im 98% sure that thats making it pull to one side. my question is...will this go away on its own or will i have to clean it? and will it hurt anything being like this for a few days?

ok thanks for any help anybody can give me. stupid rusted ****. the only thing i hate about cars is everything rusts....

also, any tips on using tools or anything that might help me in the future so i can be more efficient....i suck with tools!

im pretty sure those bolts are removed with an allen wrench. if its stripped already use vice grips, ive done it before.

if you got wd 40 on your rotors or pads they are junk and you should not drive the car like that. If the bolt is that bad i would soak it with penetrating oil for a day or 2 and try again you could also tap the head good and hard with a hammer. when you lube it be sure to get it on the threads thay go through the spindle and are not directly under the head of the bolt. as a last resort you could use a propane torch but its risky if you are in experienced as the lube is flammable and so is the brake cleaner you will clean it off with also if you are careless and overdo it you will ruin the caliper and possibly boil the fluid causing a line to burst with hot flammable brake fluid

yeah you use an allen wrench. the bolt where u stick the allen wrench in is all stripped so the wrench wiggles around...its gay.

did you end up getting it fixed? I am having the same problem at the moment.... maybe i'm not putting the vice grips on tight enough or something, but it keeps just turning around the bolt.

Did you compress the piston first?

i got it I had to really get that vice grips on there hard, and then I smacked it with a rubber mallet while using both hands to thrust ... how did they think someone was going to get that off next time someone needed to do a brake job!?
