Rear disk options for Ford 9"
Hey, I am currently running a Ford 9" rear end. My question is, what is a good disk brake kit to buy to replace the crappy drums. This needs to be affordable also.

For the record paertaining to the first link- we have a 4.5" bolt pattern and a 4.75" bolt circle. Most will reference the bolt circle, not the pattern. Bolt patterns are measured from stud center to stud center on a star pattern. Bolt circle is the diameter of the center studs from the center of the hub.

If you want to do it real cheap and don't mind to doing some welding / fabricating then check out this link. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/asp...qx/product.htm
You can either run their complete kit or you can do what I did and use either stock 10.5" camaro rear disk or 4x4 blazer front disk and cut the bracket they sell down to fit the smaller rotor. The difference between the blazer and comaro disk is that the blazer disk has less offset. Only down side to this swap is no e-brake, I guess you could use stock camaro rear calipers too since they have the same bolt locations, then you could rig up your e-brake.
