Disconnecting E-Brake

I'm in the midst of dropping my rearend tonight, and i ran into a problem, I got drum brakes, how do I disconnect the ebrake cable from inside the drum so I can completely drop my rearend??? it may seem like a dumb question but I just couldn't see up in there to see how it would come off....
