drum to disc??
i have an 86 z-28. it has a stock 10bolt rear with drums brakes. im looking to swap it out for a posi unit from a 91 z-28 with disc brakes. when swaping from drum to disc is there anything i need to change? or will i be able to bolt the new rear up and just bleed the brakes?

I think the cables will work but you may have an issue with the e-brake adjuster in the tranny tunnel, the lines may be to long or not fit the adjuster bracket.

I jsut swapped PBR rear discs (same ones you have z28crazy) on my existing 86 rear end and i ordered e-brake cables for an '89 4wheel disc camaro from napa and they fit perfectly.

You could change to the J65 (4 wheel disc) master cylinder if you want the larger piston, but the current M/C is fine.
But you might want to also switch the proportioning valve out.
