As in most typical " idiot" lights you are not going to need this little " lite " reminding you that something is not quite right.
You'll know it soon enough when the brake pedal goes ( almost )to the floor and the only skid marks you leave won't be on the pavement....but in your shorts!!!

that wire is the ground for the "BRAKE" light on the dash.
thats it. its not connected to any computer, or any other circuit.
the "BRAKE" light comes one one of two ways:
the prop valve grounds it due to brake failure
or
the Ebrake grounds it when its not down all the way.
it is only a warning light... when you connect a wilwood prop valve, its no longer needed.. you can clip it short, or use it for other things.
i use mine to kickon the light whenever i turn my line lock on....

Say you came up to a train crossing and a long train was going by. You leave the engine on to listen to tunes, pull on the Park brake and listen to " In the Gada Da Vida ". All this time the Line Lock solenoid would be energised. It's not meant to be energised for long periods of time. Would over heat and fail before it normally should.
That's why you need the Diode.
PS: Same thing would happen in the " Accessory " position. Say you're in the Park late at night with your date, listening to " Romantic favorites "and steamin' up the windows........ The last thing you want happening is your date to say: " Honey..... I smell something burning ".

lol, I got the answer and 2 scenarios to go with it! It all makes sense now... except for the "in the gada da vida" thing... I don't think I'd be listening to that. Besides, I always thought it was one long weird word: "Ena-gada-davida". LOL
