I do not think this is Miller's work - Look at the brackets - There are only three holes in his - How does he mount them with only three holes - they are different...

Nice kit and price but not mine. You don't see 4 holes but (IMO) he taps the bracket instead of the spindle and runs the bolt in from behind, so there's no bolt head clearance issues with the caliper carrier. I do mine differently than that. Nice kit but I've seen better... but I'm also biased in my opinion. I don't see braided lines or zinc coated parts like I've seen on other kits out there.

That's a very nice price for all of that in one kit. Very nice price.
Can't beat looking around and accepting used parts in good condition though. I just got my C4HD's installed today with parts from Ed, and they are insanely better than stock...and they only cost me ~$325 including shipping from 3 different places!
Ed's kits are also zinc-plated, so they won't rust.
Oh, can you tell? I'm very happy Ed

I might be looking to purchase something from Ed in the future... when I get a real job.

How do the ls1 brakes compare to the baer brakes?
Would these be better?

Close but not quite...LS1 brakes would be about equivalvent of a Baer GT system, but not exactly. The GT system actually uses PBR C5-style calipers so a C5 setup would be even closer.
http://baer.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe/0...35969100032679
Difference is LS1 brakes will fit inside 16" wheels, C5s won't.
LS1: 12" x 1.25" rotor
C5: 12.75" x 1.25" rotor

Yes, a couple actually. You're looking at $480-500 per pair.

I bought this setup in October of this year. Its been pretty good to me, probably kept the car from crashing where the old 10.5" would have killed me. This guy was great on customer service. I like Ed's kits too though. I paid $519 shipped when I got my set.

I'm picking up some ZR1s next weekend and waiting for my adapters to come in. Once that happens, I'll hit you up for the C5 kit I talked to you about in e-mail.
Thanks again, ed.

Let me rephrase my question.
Would the ls1 set up be superior to the baer equvilent of the 1le package?
The bear system that I have uses 12 in X 1.10 rotors and the GM PBR calibers.

Ed, do you still make the caliper mount plates and hubs for this swap? I'm interested in doing brakes that'll fit under my 97 T/A wheels, but still let me find pads at the local parts store. I can mod my own spindles, I have the new calipers, brackets, and hardware, and pads and rotors. just need to find the adapter plates to mount the calipers on and the hubs.

Will 95 brakes from a camaro work for this swap or the Ls1 brakes better, different. If so what year do you need to get these from. I think I can get some parts off a95 real cheap. He said he would the drive shaft for 50 bucks. Good deal?

Unless the 95 was a 1le those parts aren't worth much. 95's still had the same size brakes we have and the driveshaft is the same as ours too. You are looking for 98-02.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered the C4 HD front kit and PBR rear kit from Ed. It arrived yesterday, looks great! He fixed me up with everything including master cylindar and proportioning valve, emergency brake cables, earl's braided hoses all bolts, ... I got the rotors zinc washed and calipers powdercoated red. Ed was great to deal with. He kept me posted on the kit makeup progress (with pictures even), let me know when he shipped it with tracking numbers, stufff was well packed in three boxes. Now I have to find the time to install everything.

Let me know how to get a hold of this guy. I have e-mailed him and got no response. He sounds like he has a good deal.
