When my car sits overnight, the first pump of the brakes is excellent, then they fade to decent. The car has to sit a while for this to happen. I dont understand, anyone have any ideas?

how are you flexable hose on the brakes(usually on fronts only)? ever been changed... often the corode inside or collect junk that allows fluid in fast on the push and the return is slow since there i not much return pressure. or you have a leak somewhere that is getting air in the lines but i would think then they would always suck.

You're talking about while the engine is still off?

maybe the master cylinder is leaking...as in allowing fluid back into the resivour... Usually when that hapens the brake light will come on...but maybe thats broken too..
