Combo vallve / brake line fittings
Hello,
I have a 89 Firebird 305, vin Code E. about 2 years ago I installed a Baer Rear brake kit. I had to install an adj prop valve. I did some reshearch and purchased a GM 1989 prop valve for disc/disc. My question is, where can I find a place that sells all kinds of adapters.
I have the correct tubing with fittings from the MC to the prop valve.
The front brake lines (two of them) appear to be 7/16 x 20 theards, however on the new prop valve the size appears to be 3/8 x 16.
The back brake line has the one I had to install with the baer system, so I really dont know what size it is, but on the prop valve is 1/2 x 20.
I could use an adapter for the front brakes, (not much room to flare a new fitting) but I woul like a new fitting for the rear brake, the rear tube size 1/4.
Anyinformation will be greatly appreciated.
Update, did some reading and was told that 89 had M1.0 and M1.5 tube nuts, how can I tell which one I have. I am only concerned about the front brake line fittings...Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Brad
