Will 1LE brake fit behind a 3.5" Weld Prostar?
I want to upgrade to 1LE brakes up front, but I want to make sure that they will fit behind a 3.5" Weld Prostar. I run the car at the track frequently, so this would be very unfortunate if they do not fit. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I was also thinking that if they do not fit maybe i could make or buy a spacer. I have a lot of room in that wheel well where i could move the whole skinny out 1/4 or 1/2 inch. I guess whatever it takes to make it fit. From what I hear, the rotor and caliper should fit inside a 15" rim. I don't see why this wouldn't solve a clearance problem. Let me know what you guys think.

Using a spacer would be ok if they rubbed right? My thoughts are that the front end doesn't experience loads of torque like the rears and people are putting spacers on the rears all of the time. I don't think it would even have to be that big of a spacer anyway. The only thing that sticks out farther would be the caliper, right?

What is the backspacing on your rim? If it is the same, then I'm good.

I'll have to check to see what my backspacing is, but I had a question. When you modify the spindles for the 1LE conversion, I understand that the dust shield is removed. My question is do you leave it off permanently?
