I can try to see what the #s for the others are, but for the rotors:
Raybestos 56494, Front Brake Rotor: Pg Plus; Left; Heavy Duty Power Brakes
Raybestos 56495, Front Brake Rotor: Pg Plus; Right; Heavy Duty Power Brakes

I have a brand new set of HD calipers/carriers, etc. for sale, the whole 9 yards, pads, banjo bolts and all. PM me if you'd be interested in them, I may be able to beat the price you get.

As a side question, has anyone used the 1.1" thick HD rotor with a caliper for the 1.25" thick rotor?

I am pretty sure that with this, I will be able to fit everything inside the rim for my application. I am toying with the idea of putting a .125" thick spacer behind the piston side pad to move it out a little if need be. I would like not to have to do that but I am affraid of extending the pistons too far.

Plan D is to use the HD caliper instead of the Z06 one that I want to.

With the Z06 rotor and an LS1 caliper I am a "C" hair off where I need to be.

I picked up a HD rotor from the dealer for $130. It should be in on Monday. I have the BAER Track setup on the bird that I can try the calipers from. If that is what ends up working then I will let you know Ed.

I know a lot of the first gen car guys use a 1.1" rotor and C5 calipers but I haven't tried that yet, I'll just add that to my to do list. I think you can be OK without any spacer, as long as you don't take the pads down to the minimum you'll be OK.

LMK on the calipers should you need them.

Nice!

I'll just tack a little extra onto the wear indicator and call it a day

The pistons fit in pretty far. I don't see how they could come too far out with a useable pad installed. Now if your stopping on the rivets

We're only talking about .15" difference, .007' per side so I'm sure it will be fine. I was considering doing the same thing on one of the Wilwood calipers I have, using the caliper for the 1.25" rotor on the 1.1" thick HD rotor and concluded that it wouldn't make enough of a difference to take the time to make the spacer for the pads....so then I also got a caliper for the 1.1" rotor anyway.

You could also just bend the wear indicator with a pair of pliers to get a bit of extra length out of it.

Any advantage to using the calipers designed for a wider rotor? Do they use bigger pads than the C4HD calipers do?

Advantage? Mechanicly, no.. but money wise, yes.

Z06 caliper = $105
GS HD caliper = $162

Plus since I have one Z06 caliper and abutment, buying the other parts is a waste of time and even more money.

Besides, this isn't for my Fbody

*edit* I meant the GS caliper.

So what is it going on?

BTW, you're a bit off on your pricing. The HD calipers are only $94.88, and the C5s (ZO6 red) are $88.77 (both priced at GMPD.com).

Thanks, but I will only go as far as slotted rotors. No interest in drilled what-so-ever... that price is good though, half an OEM

I wonder if they have a light weight 2 peice version out there

Call Todd at TCE Performance, he'll make you practically any rotor you'd like.

I am familiar with Todd, he is an active member in another board I frequent.

Good guy, he has helped me with a few questions I have had along the way.
