earls EAR-28A190

i'm doing a 1le swap all the way around and was wondering if the earls EAR-28A190 brake line kit came with 4 or 5 lines. from what i understand a stock 1le car had 5 rubber lines, 2 up front, 1 from the body to the rear end, and 2 from the rear end to the calipers. is this right or i'm i mistakin. any help would be great

That is correct.

The 1LE cars were no different in that respect from the other 89-up cars with rear discs.

Although, you may find that the fitting on the end of the lines, has "corners" that interfere with the caliper casting. You could either grind the corners, or use 2 copper washers.

I've read that that problem occurs; however, the lines fit my car without modification.

Right, seems like some calipers they fit, and some they don't. I have no idea why they're different.

Let me clear some things up for you. Yes, the 28A190 kit has 5 lines, 2 front and 3 rear.

Now, as for this:

This will not be an issue with 1LE calipers. This only happens when people try to install 1LE lines on stock calipers which have a small circular area where the banjo goes onto the caiper, the 1LEs won't have this problem and you won't have to grind anything.
