Caliper Confusion

Caliper Confusion

I'm shopping around for aluminum calipers and i've noticed there only seem to be 2 types. One cast iron single-piston (which I already have) and the 2 piston aluminum (occasionally labeled "performance package) The 2 piston is the 1LE replacement right? I want 4-wheel aluminum calipers (as close to PBR as I can get) so my question is will the 2-piston calipers fit on my J65 setup? I'm not looking to be a 1LE-wannabe, I just want lighter, BETTER brakes.

Also......anyone have anything AGAINST the Cardone brand of calipers/pads, etc?

Axle/Gears: Limited Slip 3.23's
Two-piston fronts (1LE) will require spindle modification. Single-piston PBR rears require a new backing plate. Here's the how-to:
