Looking to rebuild or swap out rear calipers.
Hello,
I have the 89 and up rear brakes on my bird. I am looking to either rebuild or do a straight swap on the rear calipers. I want to know if rebuilding the rears is worth it. Or if I should just swap them for LS1 or C5 rears. I also need to know if I can just swap either of these or if I have to make mods. I'm not looking to go bigger with the rotor, 12" is fine for me right now.Which caliper is superior in performance and reliability. I was always under the impression the caliper I have is a great caliper.

IT is.... I wouldn want the LS1 caliper because of the bs of that style parking brake ..
I think that the 89-97 caliper is easier to work with

I can rebuild them for you or do an exchange if you'd like, these calipers are great.

How hard are they to rebuild? I have rebuilt fron calipers and wheel sylinders before. I hear the screw in pistons are a bitch to deal with.
ED How much to to an exchange or a rebuild?
