Car: 1987 Camaro, 1986 Trans AM
Engine: V6 2.8 multi-port and V8 5.0 FI
Transmission: 5-Speed and Automatic
Axle/Gears: no idea
Brake pressure?
Hey if you have new rotors fresh brake pads and brake fluid looks full. What could be wrong that the brakes feel soft? like takes a good while to slow down not too long but definately screwed in and emergency situation.
any ideas?

did you bleed your brakes when you were done. that would be the first thing i would try. hope this helps

I reset the caliper piston what do you mean by bleed? I think I knwo what you mean but I cant think of it at the moment.

here is one link that talks about brake bleeding. if you have a haynes manual it also says how to.

basically what you are trying to do is get the air out of the brake line, air compresses much more than the brake fluid, that is why the pedal feels soft or spongy
