Re: Earls s/s lines won't seal!

On SOME calipers, but not all, the place where the fitting goes has a round counterbore; but the Earl's fitting is a big square thing. If you have the round place, the corners of the fitting will hit the casting and won't crush the washer.

Try either grinding the corners off the fitting; or using 2 washers between the fitting and the caliper (plus the one between the banjo bolt and the fitting).

Are your calipers powder coated? Check to see if some of the coating got in and around the bolt hole, this will prevent the washers from sealing. Ran into this problem with a set of rear PBRs on my brothers '94 bird. Dremel and a sanding roll and all was well.

Make sure your banjo bolt and brake line fitting are both 10mm, any play here could cause a leak.

well ordered two more calipers both of them weren't machined even where the brake line bolted down.
