Resevoir removal
I need to remove the brake resevoir to polish the master cylinder.Is it just held in by the o rings? What is the best way to remove it? Where can I get new O ring seals?

The resovior just pops in and out. But the actual master cylinder is connected to the booster by 2 nuts and then of course the brake lines.

The reservoir is held to the MC by a roll pin in between the 2 fluid funnels. Drive out the pin, the reservoir lifts out.
Leave the O-rings alone. If they're bad, then so is every other piece of the same material that's part of the same piece that's been subjected to the same conditions for the same length of time. A whole new MC isn't but like $25, it's not worth "saving" if it's used up. Kind of stupid to waste as much effort as "polishing" will be (but that's a different matter), but most especially on a limited-life wear part that might, for all you know, be at THE VERY END of its useful life anyway.
