Want to improve my 1LEs
I have a 1le setup on the front of my car. It has Wagner thermoquiet pads. I converted my car several years ago and I have never been satisfied with them. The pedal is hard and it seems like there is more effort required than there should be. The booster is new, the hoses are new, bled many times, stops straight. They don't seem to stop any better than my original brakes. Is there something I can do to make them better?

Did you swap to a drum master? Swap the proportioning valve?

Re: Want to improve my 1LEs
It is a 90. It should already have the drum brake master. The part stores show them both to use the same master for my car. Everything I have read says the proportioning valve is the same for a J65 car and a 1LE. If I am wrong, please correct me. I would like it to be right.
