drums to disks

Transmission: 700R-4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 factory posi. disc brakes
drums to disks

I drive a '84 Camaro. I have a drum brake rear end I have a disk brake rear end out of a '82 firebird what do I need to change?

Welcome to TGO. A search here is always a good thing. I'd swap in disc proportioning valve. E-brake cables.

Welcome aboard..First thing I would do is at least rebuild the calipers with the recall kit, otherwise those rear discs won't do you a bit of good since they'll be frozen solid. Then it's a prop valve and cables as James stated.

That rear is going to have the 10.5" iron caliper. You might want to chose the axle with the preffered gearset and convert it to the later 12" PBR disk setup. Again welcome to TGO.
