The manual master cylinder from a 1985-newer S10 also works great....

No, the master cylinder looks exactly like your factory one. You will need to fab or buy a plate to mount to the firewall. Also, you will need a pushrod to connect to the brake pedal. If yuo can find a manual brake S10 in the junkyard, everything is already there including the mounting plate and the pushrod.

I bought there kit and seems to fit well. I have not gotten my car running again yet but a friend of mine that has a 89 has the same kit and he stops just fine. His car runs low 10's.

That looks like a plate to go from manual to power, i want to go from power to manual.

EDIT: OK i was looking at it backwards, I see how it works now.

Will those adapter plates from TRZ and Burkhart work with the stock s-10 manual cylinder? or only those chrysler style ones

Re: Manula Brakes

Would I like going to manual breaks on my GTA? Is it going to be really hard to push the pedal? I just want to hear some thoughts on how well everyone likes it over power. Im having the same issue..big cam..
