Parking Brake cable

The parking brake on my 82 camaro z-28 doesnt work at all. it has 4 wheel disc brakes. Not sure if its the cable isnt connected right or not connected at all or if its not hooked to the parking brake handle or what.

I've searched for pictures of the cable installed so i can check to see if theres even one hanging loose or there at all but i havent found any yet so if anyone has one that would be a massive help. any help would make my life alot easier cuz id like to have a parking brake in my manual trans by the time i take it out of my garage

You may need to replace the calipers themselves. Here's a pic of where the two cables attach (and are adjusted) in the tunnel above the d/s:

That should help alot thanks. I forgot to mention on the parking brake handle when I pull up on it, it give no resistence no clicks just comes all the way up. Any chance you'd have a pic it connectin to the actual handle?

Re: Parking Brake cable

I'm sorry I don't have another pic. I sounds as through something isn't hooked up, either at the adjuster or at the handle.
