Re: vaccum resivor installation
i haven't had to install a big reservoir, but i did try to come up with a fail safe plan to have vacuum to the booster in the event of a stall going 80 mph. my designed included a relay activated vacuum pump, and a reservoir and a check valve. I never did cuz it was pointless, but after the research, i found thati had a stock vacuum rez in my driver side bumper hidden away. Id imagine, if you did a setup with a bigger REZ, id get a check valve too, and i doubt the length of hose matters, so long as it doesn't collapse. peace
Re: vaccum resivor installation
if you got low vacuum due to a big cam dont waste a dime on a RESEVIOUR. HERES WHY. IF YOURE PULLING 12" OF VACUUM(NOT ENOUGH) ALL A RESEVIOUR WILL DO IS STORE EXCESSIVE VACUUM AT 12" STILL...BIG DEAL.WONT HELP YOU ONE BIT. IF ITS VACUUM ISSUE BUY A VACUUM PUMP OR HYDROBOOST.NOTHING ELSE.
