Front LS1 rotor ???s

I am collecting parts for my front LS1 upgrade. Have all the caliper parts.

Was wondering if these calipers would work with a 13" c4/c5 rotor with the right brackets or if I was stuck using the 12" LS1 rotors.

Eb Miller would know... He's around here on the brake boards usually.. I bought my LS1 kit from him and the brakes are 10x better than stock... Night and day difference.. I used the 12" rotors though.

I think you can put corvette calipers in the LS1 caliper brackets from what I understand. So you're not stuck per se... but the calipers wont work.

Re: Front LS1 rotor ???s

Ok thanks I was looking to see if 13" rotors would work with the ls1 calipers if not I will just stick with the standard ls1 conversion.

It will still sure beat the stockers.

Cant wait to get started spring will come fast!!

Also if knows I am looking for caliper rebuild kits for the ls1s. I have found them on rock auto but they want my arm for shipping.

Yes, with the correct brackets you can use a larger rotor.

Re: Front LS1 rotor ???s

So if I bought the c4 hd conversion brackets from your site with the 13" c4 rotors I can still use the LS1 caliper setup? (calipers and caliper brackets)

Not that simple but it's the correct concept, yes. It'll take a new bracket as the C4 and LS1 parts won't interchange as simple as LS1 and C5/C6 parts do.

just to save a new thread(not trying to hijack)

with the 82-92 LS1 spindle conversion, with the new hub would i still need the spacers for my 17x9 SS/WS6 wheels?

I don't know for sure but I would say yes. your only adding the thickness of a rotor between the hub and the wheel.
