Ed, I'm still interested in Wilwood FSL based setup for 9 bolt.

Hey Ed,

About 6 months ago I ordered your Wilwood FSL front setup. At the time we discussed you coming up with a matching set for the rear. Do you still have interest in doing this? I have cash in hand.

I would be interested in running as big of rotors as possible that will still fit my 16" IROC wheels. My requirements would be:

- FSL or Dynalite calipers
- must have working e-brake (hopefully better than stock)
- must fit 16" IROC wheels
- must fit 9 bolt
- rotor must be available in DBA 4000 series (to match my fronts)

So what do you say? I realize the market is a bit limited for such a setup, but I'd be willing to throw some extra money your way to make this happen.

Thanks.

I hear ya. I just sent off the pattern for C5 rear conversion brackets for 9 bolts and I'll go off in other directions from there. Ideally I would like to use a C5 rear rotor and FSL caliper so this is the route I'll take at this time. I have a LOT of stuff going on.... thanks!

I would be interested in this as well. I have the 12" Wilwood FSL on the front and stock style 12" brakes on the rear but I would like matching calipers on the rear too, I also have a 9 bolt

I was just working on my stock rear iron brakes yesterday. And they reminded how terrible they are and what a pain they are to work on.

John,

Dreaming of Wilwoods.

I would be VERY interested in the C5 rear set up. Does it keep the e-brake?

The proposed C5 rear setup uses the C5 e-brake. Do a search, there is a lot of info for the C5 swap for 10 bolts. Please keep this thread dedicated to a Wilwood swap.

OK, a bit sensitive? I posted in here because I am also using a 9 bolt, so I figured it was related.

I'm not sure how answering your question and telling you a place where you can get more information is considered being sensitive. If you don't appreciate me answering your questions let me know, then I won't do it in the future.

I just want to keep this discussion on topic. Is that to much to ask.

I too would be interested in this setup, or any other options that Ed would have for 9-bolts.

Very interested here. Looking for the possibility of rotors with aluminum hats for the rear as well.

I got my stock 9 bolt brakes lookin pretty clean. They look so good I may not even be interested in the Wilwoods anymore.

Just kidding. Still waiting for rear wilwoods for the 9-bolt. Bump for Ed.

Ed,

Friendly reminder.

I see you are working on rear Brembos for the 9-bolt. They almost look similar enough to match my front Wilwoods. Almost. Any word on rear Wilwoods for the 9 bolt?

Re: Ed, I'm still interested in Wilwood FSL based setup for 9 bolt.

No problem, now that the rearend is inside I can get to it. I'm running a bit behind on kits, PMs, and e-mail as usual but I'll get to it since the rear is handy now. The brackets I had made for the 9 bolt and C5s need some tweaking at the moment, the Wilwood FSL will be easier.

Thanks for the patience.

Ed

Excellent. Put me first in line for a set. Do you think the C5 rotors will fit with IROC wheels? I would imagine so, since they are 12" diameter.

Yes, no issue with that one.

I am just recieving my parts from Ed now. I ordered the 13" FSLs for the front and LS1s for the back. I wish Ed had offered FSLs for the rear when I ordered these. Just the same, these new brakse will be very nice.

It is his option to introduce new products any time he wants. Quite frankly this market is very limited. It is not like we've been waiting for an order to be delivered since then.

If you have another source of big Wilwoods on a 9-bolt, please share.

Please stop ruining this productive thread. If you are not interested in Wilwood brakes for a 9 bolt, why are you here?
