Screw Cap Master Cylinder

I was wondering if anyone has upgraded to a screw cap style master clyinder. I need to do so and would like a little input on it. Also does anyone know what the bore size is for a 86 trans am Master clyinder. I am planning on swapping to disc brakes in the rear.
