Vacauum line or Brake Booster?

I just noticed a hissing sound coming from my brake pedal when I press it down. It doesn't do it unless I press on it. I turned my car off to see what it would do and where as I usually can press it about 2-3X before it becomes hard, I only had to press it down just a bit 1X and it hissed and the pedal became hard.

Vacuum leak or brake booster?

Thanks for any replies.

It's never does this sound before or acted like this. I mean yes, it makes a sound when depressing the pedal, but never when just holding it a certain position. Like when you have to press the pedal 2-3X when the car is off to get the pedal rock hard. I only have to press it an inch and it "leaks" all the vacuum out and becomes hard in seconds.
