wheels wont spin??
Ok I just put a 4th gen rearend in my car. When the wheels are off of the car both axles will spin with no resistence, but when I torque the wheel onto the car it takes a great amount of force to make the tire turn. I have no clue what is causing this, I have new pads, rotors, calipers, the parking brake is not pushing the pad onto the rotor. The only conclusion I can come up with is that when I put the wheel on it is pushing the rotor into the back pad, which is not letting it turn. Any other ideas?

What wheels you have on the car.

there stock 15 inch wheels, but I jacked up the car and don't see where anything would be hitting.

That shouldn't matter.. I've got the LT1 rear brake setup on my car and it has plenty of clearance on my stock 15's.
I'd take the wheel off and take some washers on one or two wheel studs and then put the lug nuts on lightly and see if you can find out where its binding.

If you think the rotor is hitting the backing plate you can put. Some lugs on the rotor ( flat side of nut to rotor ) retest If the axle spins freely then the problem is else where
