Changed rotors on LS1 Front, broken part!
Hey all,
I need desprite help. I had a strange slight griding sound while driving. I rotors I got were used, so I just got new ones to install today. After I got everything in place, I couldn't get the caliper back on. It seems that the bracket the caliper mounts to has two "sliders" that adjust for wear. One of them was free, the one was frozen. Long story short, while trying to free the frozen one, it snapped. If anyone knows what its called, and / or a part number, that would be great! I've attached two pictures...
Thanks!!

Great! Thanks!
Now, anyone have the part number for the LS1 guide pin, or caliper carrier.... And any ideas on how to get the old one out?!

You need allot of heat and it will come out. I am not talking map gas or propane. I am talking oxygen and acetylene.
