Drum To Disc bbrake

I jus bought a new rear end for my 91 firebird. Will there b any issue with the proportioning valve and the amount of pressure sent to the rear disc being that it requires less? or will it sorta set itself so to speak

Re: Drum To Disc bbrake

I know this has been asked a million times I'm sure, but I'm trying it myself and need help. I have a 86 donor car iroc, with a 90 z28 rear end with disc breaks, I want to put those disc breaks on my 92 25th anniv. What would I need to do to make the most simple swap? Whole rear end, just change brakes, or what?

Swapping the rear would probably be easier, but there are other considerations, which the above link discusses.
