Low brake pedal - no air in system
Low brake pedal - no air in system
Hi everyone, My issue is a bit diffrent then all the other low brake pedal threads so i figured id make a new one. I swapped a disk rear into my 85, bought a new disk MC, gutted the old proportioning valve, bought rebuilt front caliper, rebuilt the rear, bought all stainless line and got new rubber hoses. Set the whole thing up, got it working after bleeding twice. I did bleed the mc and after driving for about 20 min with next to no brakes, i jacked the back of the car up till the MC was vertical, then re-bled the brakes and got ALOt of air out of the system. now i can lock my brakes and everything but i still have the issue that i dont even begin to feel the brakes untill the pedals an inch from the ground. The only thought i had is that maybe the pushrod for a drum brake MC is shorter then one for a disk, cuz i didnt change that part out. If anyone has any idea what to try next, id love some input. Thanks, and sorry for the long post, just wanted to clarify that i already did all the basics
