Baer Track4??

Anyone have any experience with these brakes? They look nice and they aren't too expensive.

You may have already considered products on the following site. If not, a perusal might turn up another choice.

I didn't realize the 4T's were that inexpensive. That would be a good choice. I wonder if they fit 16" IROC wheels?

Just asking if anyone had already tried it. I'm happy with my Wilwoods.

Re: Baer Track4??

RIght on, I have the Baer 12" Sport Kit and I can barely fit my finger between the caliper and a stock 91-92 wheel.

What are your goals for the car? Will the car ever see a road course?

Re: Baer Track4??

Wow, A very nice setup for the price. Baer makes exception rotors- very good metal properties.

I am shocked because a kit like this from them is usually in the $2500 range. This kit would be very track worthy with an upgraded race pad- but do know a racce pad is not the right temperature range for street driving and would no grip to slow the car unless warmed up sufficiently.

Yeah I plan on doing some local autocrosses and theres a road course not too far away from me that i might hit up. It's mainly just going to be a fun street car.

Sounds like this Baer setup would be ideal for your needs. Plus not many people run them and they are beautiful.

Yeah, I'm gonna call the GM dealership this week and see what price i can get the cts-v calipers/rotors for under my shop price. And I'll decide between the two, depending on how much money i have after i build my motor and everything else
