Breaks pulling

Hey everyone,
First off let me introduce my self because this is my first post.
My name is sam, i am 19 and I have a 91 firebird formula that I had saved for since i was 14. I have owned the car since age 16 and it was my first car. I have put many hard earned miles on the car(I have had to put in a new t5 every year so far cause i break them) and i love it to death! i am working on a 406 sbc to put in over this summer while I am home(Brighton, MI) for summer before i go back to Lake Superior State University where i go to school. Thats it for the introduction
So heres the problem, I just got done doing the front breaks, I have to take them apart again cause i didnt put in new outer bearing
I tried them out in the drive way though and I have the same problem I had before, they pull to the left. I looked around to see if any one else was having this problem and the only post like this i could find was about a rubber line being bad. now when I bled my breaks the amount of fluid coming out of both sides was about the same. I just put new calipers on when i did the breaks so what gives??? maybe the master cylinder is bad? Please help!! thanks,
Sam

Welcome to TGO, soliveri. Replace the rubber lines. The bad line acts as a check valve.

Re: Breaks pulling

I hope you have a T56 to put behind that 406, because that T5 won't last a month under your feet if the T5 isn't lasting a year with the 305.

Re: Breaks pulling

JamesC: replaced the rubber hose as you suggested for $15, the brakes don't pull any more! Thank for your help!!
Camaronewbie: I'm working on a new trans for the car right now, I only plan on running the t5 with the 406 if I dont have a new one my then, as of now I'm thinking of doing a 4 speed such as a muncie or saginaw because they are cheap but should hold up. the only issue is is that this car is my daily driver so a 4 speed will hurt my MPG, but so will the carb'ed 406 so we'll see.
