Re: ls1 rear end clear gta rims
i have the gta wheels on my stock 10bolt with the ls1 brakes and they clear just fine. aside from moving your wheels out a bit further, there should be no clearance issues

Re: ls1 rear end clear gta rims
Been awhile since I looked into doing this, since I ended up going to 17" aftermarket wheels instead of staying with my crosslaces anyways, but I seem to recall that with the deeper BS on rear crosslaces, they would hit. But front crosslaces fit them better or by using the slip-on factory 16mm (iirc) to space out the rear BS wheels.

they fit, no problem, im using them..... want pictures?
ls1 front brakes wont clear the wheels, and you may need spacers there.

Re: ls1 rear end clear gta rims
i have them on my 86 also and they work quite well. I have adjustable prop valves on both cars, and once you get them tuned in, they are great

Re: ls1 rear end clear gta rims
Thanks. I want to be crystal clear on this though.............
Front GTA rims will clear the LS1 front brakes but not the rear GTA
wheels ??? Correct ?
If this is the case, what exactly would one ask or search for on these factory spacers...I mean exactly what were they called other than spacers and what years were they on ?
Thanks...........

Re: ls1 rear end clear gta rims
Will these be enough to push the rears out enough to clear the LS1 brakes on the front ????

Re: ls1 rear end clear gta rims
The offset on the wheel is for the steering arm on the spindle. With my brake package my wheels were pushed out further than the rear wheel offset so I will run 4 rears all the way around.
GTA wheels, whether front or rear, may not clear front LS1 brakes. You may need a spacer as said several times. The wheel "face" may come in contact with the caliper

Have you read through the sticky? I think this combo was covered in there
