few questions on brake upgrade

hey guys, i purchased a rear end off a 99 ss camaro last night and it has drilled and slotted rotors, pbr calipers and 4:11 richmond posi unit on it for $300... rotors and calipers are about the only terms i know regarding brakes if that give you an idea of my knowledge lol I'm reading the stickies but i don't even know what some of the stuff means in them so I'm not exactly getting anywhere.

what do i have to do to make the front brakes look like the back brakes?
could i just get the rotors and calipers from a 99ss camaro and use those?

i have not bough wheel for this build yet so i can buy any offset needed if that helps in the "how to" on this.

please help and sorry if this is a redundant question.

thanks
brian

The brakes are LS1's. A front kit is available from the following site:

http://www.flynbye.com/

Many members have gone the LS1 route, so a search should provide a ton of info concerning the swap.

Re: few questions on brake upgrade

With the info. thats on this and other websites helped me up grade my car to ls1 brakes on the front for around 350.00 buts thats doing alot of it yourself. The price of the LS1 brakes on flynbye's or bigbrakeupgrade isn't bad for the work thats needed to get them to work.

Re: few questions on brake upgrade

Personally, I wouldn't bother waiting for Eb to complete your kit. Check this guy out: www.bigbrakeupgrade.comp. He did my spindle mods for my C5?GTO upgrade. i got them fast and the work was nothing short of amazing.
