Which master cylinder and P/V for the 90-92 1LE?

Several years ago, I did several mods to my 84 Camaro (engine swap, suspension, trans, rear end, etc.). I also swapped out my stock brakes for a 1LE setup from a 92 (I believe) Police Package Camaro.

The problem is, since I did that, my brakes have really been poor. Very weak stopping power. My vacuum is fairly low due to the cam, so I installed a vacuum reservoir...didn't really help. The car sat for quite some time so I am just now trying to get it back up and going again.

I can't for the life of me remember if I swapped out the master cylinder and proportioning valve. I'm assuming from the amount of threads on this topic that the master cylinder and P/V are different for this setup. I'm also assuming that it would make a big difference on brake performance.

Long story short, what part numbers should I look for to ensure I have the right ones for my setup?

Thanks in advance.

Hopefully, your 84 combination valve is metric. If so, you'll need the first-design valve, which is available below:

More about the valve and master can be found in the following link (BTW, I used the J50 drum master and have been well satisfied):

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I will have time to work on it some this week.
