ls1 & 1LE brake swap quesions

My car came with drums 2.73 rear end now has a 3.27 9 bolt disk. I have all the calipers just need the brackets. My question is will a proportioning valve from a 4 disk 3gen work. What would happen if I do. The 1LE PV would be best or do I need a aft mrk 1 thanks

Yes, the standard J65 combination valve will work (for that matter a J50 will work), but it's not designed for the 1LE rears. Personally, I'd swap in the correct 1LE valve, which would be less hassle than an adjustable after market.

The 1le is not made for ls1 fronts, so it would still be lacking. I think I will go with stock 4 disk PV and upgrade l8r to 1le. I don't need that much stoping power in a car with no abs. The wheels would lock up and that's no good. And 1le rears I was talking about lt1 rears I know they the same but just to let u know

A combination valve proportions to the rears. Good luck with your project.
