Found these calipers near brand new (cept rust from humidity) in the back of a RS thirdgen in a Junk Yard. Did a search for the number cast into the caliper but had zilch results for that number.

Can anyone identify them? The pistons were freaking HUGE! I didn't have anything I could use as a comparison for size and no ruler with me at the JY.

I don't plan on using them as I'll likely being doing LS1 brakes, its more of a curiosity to me. Calipers still had all of caps covering important bits. Obviously never used too.

Those look alot like the OEM front calipers. Any reason to believe they aren't?

The piston just seems extraordinarily large.

They look like a GM metric front caliper. Nothing special.

Measure the OD of the piston where it contacts the pad. If 2-3/8" then it is the standard front metric caliper. If closer to 3", then likely they are the older D52 front caliper.
