SSBC Adjustable Proportion Valve

Thinking of picking up an adjustable proportioning valve, this is the one I am thinking about:

http://ssbrakes.com/i-10094012-distr...ble-black.html

I can't seem to find any serious reviews on it and there are no comments here.

Anyone tried this one or have another recommendation?

Re: SSBC Adjustable Proportion Valve

The street price is under 100, they show list. This one is also the distribution block and has the brake switch as well. So it entirely replaces the factory one, this is what I am after.

The summit one that does the above is actually $10 more than this one on their site (and looks like a clone....).

Re: SSBC Adjustable Proportion Valve

All true. You only mentioned the proportioning valve. Fine if you want to replace the whole block.

Re: SSBC Adjustable Proportion Valve

They are good blocks but not needed. All that is needed is a direct line to the front brakes, and put a proporting valve, just a simple Wilwood like the one shown, and they are around $40
I do like the warning lights for the brakes but that's what brake bias gauges are for!
Good luck, you cannot go wrong with SSBC Proportioning block.

So why did you get the summit brand when the single **** style ssbc valve is 6 dollars more and smaller????

Re: SSBC Adjustable Proportion Valve

@nickyakker

I have the Wilwood for my car. Wilwood is contracted by Summit to make their 'Summit' brand. The SSBC, on the other hand I never looked at. The only SSBC that I looked at getting for my car was the same one as the OP.
